This year has been an exciting one, to say the least! With awards, beautiful events and new partnerships, we have so much to be grateful for. We’d like to share with you some of our favorite moments from 2016.
Fantasies in Chocolate
What an experience this was! This year we won best sweet with a brownie and salted caramel, vanilla crème anglaise, merigune.
We won the NACE Caterer of the Year award 2 years running! (2015, 2016). We are so blessed to be recognized for our efforts by the community. We are always striving to improve our skills and deepen our understanding of Reno-Tahoe cuisine.
La Di Da Holiday Party at Beckwith Gallery
Working at this new venue with fancy and creative decor was such refreshing and fun way to connect with other professionals in the community.
Harvest Dinner Cafe at Adeles
Had an amazing time working with local farms and staff at Cafe at Adele’s. Working with Charlie Abowd was a sheer delight.
Chemistry of the Cocktail
We had an absolute blast chatting up local mixologists and providing pork belly bites for guests at this year’s Chemistry of the Cocktail. Side note, the Discovery Museum is just the coolest.
The Reno Bites Chef Showdown
We were truly honored to be a part of the Reno Bites Chef Showdown this year and so glad that we got best overall dish! Thank you so much to everyone who came out. Tom and Tammi Czyz were amazing hosts.
Urban Roots Fundraiser Event
Our carrot ‘chicharrones’ dish celebrated the amazing carrots grown in northern Nevada. These are all from Lattin Farms in Fallon and this part of the dish will be . We always love collaborating with local organizations that improve our community. It was great to feed all the people supporting this event. Good people, and a good time too!
Black Tie Brunch
Dolling up and indulging in small bites and daytime cocktails? What an elegant day this was! We hope to do it again next year!
