26 Dec Blend Featured on Tahoe Unveiled Lake Tahoe Weddings: Colorful Day After Party with a View
What a better way to celebrate your first day as husband and wife than throwing a massive “day after” wedding party! Overlooking Lake Tahoe, Blend Catering created a feast of caviar, charcuterie, heirloom tomato skewers, and mimosas, while Elise Events, La Tavola, B&B Designs and Celebrations Party Rentals set a beautiful scene of light colored linen, colorful flowers, and rustic/industrial furnishings.
From the bride~
When we thought about what we wanted to be doing the day after our wedding, we decided we wanted a big day party to celebrate our first day as husband and wife. There is no better way to start your first day as a married couple than to surround yourselves by your favorite people- eating all kinds of delicious food made by Blend Catering Company, and sipping a mimosa or two. Danielle Tolleson with Elise Events helped us throw another unbelievable event. The charcuterie board was one out of a cooking magazine. It had an array of preserved and prepared meat dishes, from cured sausages, hams, pâté, to all kinds of cheeses and even a beautiful caviar jar on the side.
While standing on the deck at the beautiful estate we rented and looking out onto Lake Tahoe, we could not be more pleased with the way the day turned out. Every detail made to perfection, just like at our wedding. The tables had the most beautiful butterfly linens and the floral décor made by B and B Designs were breathtaking. As a couple nothing was more special to us than not having to worry about a thing. All we did was enjoy the beautiful sunny day with our loved ones. When thinking about the event we originally thought that, we did not need a photographer but Kari Spalinger at Gagewood did such a fantastic job at our wedding that we knew we had to use her again. She captured photos of our friends and family that traveled near and far. These photos will last a lifetime.
The day could not have gone any better and we highly recommend turning your wedding into a weekend of love instead of just having it last one day.
